About the Nutritionist

Randi Drasin is a Nutritionist with a BS degree in Dietetics. She is certified in Weight Management for Children and Adolescents and is currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Dietetics and Food Science. This year she will complete a dietetic internship which will allow her to sit for the California State Board Exam to become a Registered Dietitian.

Randi is the owner of Randi's Fitness for Kids, After School Ernrichment Program. She directs Gymnastics, Dance and Cheerleading Camps every summer since 1998. She has been the PE coach for the Neighborhood School Kindergarden in North Hollywood, California since 1997. She puts together camp/enrichment programs for Teen Treatment Centers and Private schools in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley areas.

She has wrltten numerous articles on fitness for kids, nutrition for kids and has even granted copyright permission to the Singapore Department of Nutrition to post her article on "Warm up and Stretching Excercises" in the Healthy Weight for Pre-Schoolers program material for the country of Singapore.

She is a member of the following organizations:

American Dietetic Association, California Dieteitic Association, CDA's Los Angeles District Executive Board Member, USA Gymnastics, International Society of Sports Nutrition, SCAN DPG, WM DPG, the 31st District PTSA, Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce, NASC Honors Society and she is an LAPD Reserve Specialist Officer.
